Liberty Lies are a 4-piece alternative rock band from the Black Country, West Midlands. Formed as teenagers in 2008, the band was created by Shaun, Josh & Adam as an outlet to try their hand at writing original material. With a developing local fan base, the band released their first EP ‘New Addiction’ in 2010. Produced by Mark Stuart (Magnum, Thin Lizzy, Diamond Head), the four track was ladened with intent but held a strong classic rock vibe. As the band matured, so did the sound and the song writing prowess. 2012 saw the quintet head out on their first UK & European tour with Shinedown & Halestorm. This then lead to the bands self produced debut album, ‘Reflections’ (2013) produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Lower Than Atlantis, Bullet for my Valentine). Line-up changes marred what could have been a crucial time for the band, but didn’t hold them back from notching support slots to the likes of: Rival Sons, Heaven’s Basement, Magnum, Skillet and more. 2015 brought a follow up EP in the form of ‘Fracture’. Once again produced by Romesh, the hard hitting release documented the bands growth into a new sound and commerciality. The bands largest tour to date came with a 17 date assault on the UK with American metallers SOiL in 2016, which was used to promote their latest single ‘Are You Listening’. With an ever growing fan base, the single gained playlisting on Kerrang and Planet Rock radio as well as worldwide independent radio stations. 2019 will see the band release their second full length album.
Daylight Robbery have secured themselves the crown of “The Kings of Heavy Melodic Rock”. Hailing from in and around Birmingham, England they have risen quickly to produce two hugely acclaimed albums ‘Cross Your Heart…and Hope to Die’ & ‘Falling Back to Earth’. The stella reviews meant that a band put together by Mark and Tony to simply record a few songs they had written in their childhood suddenly found themselves touring the UK with Uriah Heep, appearing with It-Bites and playing the main stage of the inaugural HRH/AOR at Magna Park, Sheffield (being acknowledged as the band of the day). Daylight Robbery’s greatly anticipated 3rd album ‘THE ENEMY WITHIN’ was released during the summer of 2020, with the first two singles being the incredible ‘DIGITAL PREACHER’ and the 80’s sounding classic ‘HOUSE OF PAIN’.
