The Midlands finest folk rock band:
+ support River Thieves
Over the past four decades Quill have reinvented themselves a number of times and they have done it once again!
Their strong vocal harmonies and the artistry of violin and guitar is a key feature of their music. Quill will not only captivate and entertain, but also offer a moving, yet truly dynamic and varied show equal to any first-class act, and will include additional guest artists and musicians.
Throughout the show Quill will perform songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s right up to the present day, playing Fleetwood Mac-style rock, and a set list of superb timeless classics, intermixed with brand new original material.
"Joy Strachan-Brain is the best female singer to come out of the Midlands".
"With a set list of superb interpretations interspersed with their own compositions, the evening was not only entertaining, it was also moving and truly energetic. I particularly enjoyed the freedom with which violinist Kate McWilliam traversed the stage in a fashion reminiscent of the antics of one Mik Kaminski, but with added grace"
Keith James, (www.elobeatlesforever.blogspot.co.uk)
"Quill have continued to perform their outstanding brand of folk rock over the last four decades. A wonderful trip down memory lane"
Tony Collins, (Birmingham Evening Mail)
