Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & the Bunnymen grew to become one of the UK’s most popular indie rock bands responsible for hit albums and singles such as The Cutter, Seven Seas, Bring on the Dancing Horses, The Killing Moon, Nothing lasts forever.
Iconic front man Ian McCulloch will be giving a rare solo performance at Robin 2 and will feature stripped down versions of classic Bunnymen tracks as well as songs from his own solo catalogue.
This is a one off chance to experience the sounds of a true icon of British indie music.
THE HUMDRUM EXPRESS is the musical vehicle for Kidderminster based singer/songwriter Ian Passey.
Recent singles Festival At Home, Cryptic Self Pity, Double Edged Swords and Copy Cats have all been championed by Steve Lamacq on his BBC 6music drive time show.
Live work has included gigs with Half Man Half Biscuit, John Cooper Clarke, Bob Mould, The Wedding Present, Hugh Cornwell, Miles Hunt & Erica Nockalls, Chas 'n' Dave, and John Otway.
He's released four albums to date - All Aboard , Little Victories, Elevation Of Trivia and Clone Town Blues - with a fifth, The Day My Career Died, on the way this year…
