CAIRO were formed by Rob Cottingham following his departure from Touchstone in 2015. The band comprises Rachel Hill on vocals; James Hards on guitars; Paul Stocker on bass, Graham Brown on drums with Rob on vocals and keys. The music offers a new sound with the same sensibilities as in Rob's previous writing but with heavier passages, as well as more ambient, electronic soundscapes – plus more time spent on crafting the blend of male and female vocals within the overall production of the music. Their debut album "Say" - released in October 2016 - was recorded at Outhouse Studios, with the mighty John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost*, Lonely Robot, Arena) at the helm.
MIDNIGHT SUN were formed from members of popular prog outfits Also Eden, Unto Us and Colourflow and features: Huw Lloyd-Jones (vocals), Ian Hodson (keyboards), Andy Gelband (guitar) and Jack Thomas (bass). The band straddles a line somewhere between prog and prog metal and are working on their debut album to be released in 2017.
ELAINE SAMUELS AND KINDRED SPIRIT are a five-piece band from the London area combining folk rock with expansive, progressive arrangements. As well as the inspirational songs of singer / songwriter Elaine Samuels, the band features violin and flute as lead instruments and were featured in both Rock Society and Prog magazines during the second half of 2016.
