The New Saints:
Formed November 2008 in Wolverhampton, England. The New Saints are the new boys in town!. Their muscular hard rock sound is an explosion of hooks, melodies and pumping rhythms that drives home the fact that they are most definately here to re-invigorate the UK rock scene!!.. The band have recently finished in the studio recording their debut 13 track album, 'Songs for the black hearted', This, along with an explosive, live show which is overflowing with both energy and attitude, will see very busy times ahead for The New Saints.
The Bad Flowers scream, super cool rock and roll melodies with a difference. This midland based trio have been together since early 2014 and have already released a debut EP in 'vicious lullabies' and toured up and down the country and into Europe leaving a head banging, foot stomping, bone shaking trail in their wake. Heavily influenced by rock gods such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and The Who and with new single and video for 'Living The Dream' this is certainly a band to watch out for.
OH yea......You wanna know all about SHYYNE...??? Wolverhampton's own 80's LA style Hardrock band....and their superb brand of Semi sleazy Hard Rock and Roll Anthems, OF COURSE YOU DO.....BUT you're gonna have to endure another review..Read on folks! (by kind permission)
The Black Country’s own LA 80’s Hardrock band.
Think of Shyyne as
a road trip thru the best Hardrockin’ sounds...... Spend a night in RATT, the morning spent sightseeing in Cinderella, afternoon Jack Daniels at the bar in Poison/Crue, spend the evening air guitaring at Lynch Mob and Dokkken and then bed down totally worn out but equally totally exuberated for the night in Van Halen, this is the sound this band achieve and they make no apologies for doing so!! Unashamedly an 80’s sound but acheived so very 21st century, and rightly so!!
Performing their bouncy but razor sharp brand of original Hardrock anthems in an energetic and entertainingly lighthearted way this band have hardrocked and very hard rolled thru the Midlands during 2013/14/15, tearing up stages from the Robin 2... thru the O2 , far and wide and then back to their hometown stage at the Slade rooms Wolverhampton and attracting huge critical acclaim along their hardrocking travels.
SHYYNE, a 4 piece, were formed in late 2012 in the heart of the Black Country by ex-Rezist/Surrender frontman Toni Gale and shredder guitarist Mark Wilkins formerly of Roulette........ Joined on drums by the enigmatic Dave Harvey and now, last but not least the highly accomplished Bass of Matt Freeman..
Fresh from their acclaimed support slots including Enuffs E’nuff, Love/Hate, Toseland, Molly Hatchet, Tygertailz, Moonkings and the mighty Y&T no less and due to be joining the legendary Nazareth on the Midlands leg of their forthcoming tour, and with their brilliantly received debut EP "If I could" being hotly followed by their debut album "Worlds Gone Crazy" which released in 2015(iTunes/Spotify/cdBaby/Amazon) SHYYNE are on a meteoric rise into your conciousness and right into the hearts of true 80’s
hardrock fans the whole world over. See them live, as soon as you possibly can. Because y'know, we have for far too long missed out on that good time feeling we all had in the eighties when Hardrock and Glam metal was just that. Aaaah BUT this band have GOT IT, They have it all, and they got lots of it!
And as this band rightly say. Shyyne On!...!
A classic rock covers band, hailing from Bloxwich, London, Texas, Sausage.
Medically speaking SCIATTICA should be dead. After years of notorious excesses their blood would kill other less rock orientated groups.
SCIATTICA's story from their humble origin back in the winter of 1274, to the finely tuned professional group of today has been one of self-belief, snot-mangling determination and personal sacrifice, in an extraordinary musical odyssey.
A night with SCIATTICA is a musical roller coaster ride of rock classics. From Black Sabbath to Deep Purple, Motorhead to The Cult, Chicory Tip to Mungo Jerry, Iron Maiden to Metallica, Aretha Franklin to Big Joe Billy Bob and his Jazz Band, and WASP, all form part of their history of Rock.
Although SCIATTICA have not spoken to one another for the past 2 years and only communicate by means of table tapping and semaphore, their live performance is something to behold.
They are also known for using electric during their performances. Not uncommon you may assume. Except that Sciattica use what is known as 'Wi
