The Sex Pissed Dolls are an all female rock band and and were formed in 2014. Members are Nancy, Anna, Kitty, Connie and Jilly. They exploding onto the scene and quickly gained a reputation as a must see live band with a visual and an energy that few could match. A successful 2015 UK tour followed. Initially the band covered songs by The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Nirvana, Buzzcocks etc in their own unique style.
2016 saw a diversification into writing their own music, the result was their debut EP ' Maniac', recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios and produced by Steve Brown (of Manic Street Preachers, The Cult and George Michael fame). It was released in August 2016 to critical acclaim. Following rave independent music magazine reviews, 2016 brought further recognition when they were awarded the prestigious slot of opening the Iconic Isle of Wight festival as well as numerous other festival headline slots.
In July 2016 they were asked to perform at the official after show of the Formula One British Grand Prix with Texas and The Feeling.
In 2017 the girls will be performing a number of shows and festival headline spots as part of their ' Avenging Angels' tour and following their incredible performance at the Isle of Wight Festival, they have been invited back but this time elevated to the Main Stage to perform alongside Run DMC and David Guetta.
Their originality and live performances attracted the attention of global music supremo John Giddings who invited them to join his stable of artists at Solo. The list of artists John has worked with and also currently looks after include Madonna, U2, Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Blondie and the late great David Bowie.
The band were also invited to be featured on the TV documentary Rocktales hosted by Paul Young. This is scheduled to be aired in 2017.
The band are currently writing new material for a further EP and album, recording is expected to start in 2017.
