40 years ago, Rebellion founder Daz Russell was just 16 years old (too young to be at the the venue – it was 18+!) when he put on his first gig. 2nd November 1984 saw Chaos / 16 Guns / Joust / Indecent Assault & Death Zone play at Dudley Sugarhill club.
The following 40 years has been an amazing journey. Via the Mermaid in Brum, to the Holidays In The Sun / Wasted & Rebellion adventure that took bands all around the world.
He’s throwing a weekend celebration with friends and a few close bands. Come and help us celebrate with him. For him it’s a good excuse for a beer. For the rest of us it’s a chance to say thanks and have a good night out.
