Walsall Music Education Service Student Rock and Pop Gig

Walsall Music Education Service invites you to join us at The Robin for our exciting Annual Student Rock and Pop Gig, celebrating the dedication and effort of our students throughout the academic year.

Our bands rehearse weekly at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre, Wednesday evenings during term time, covering a variety of genres.  For several years, we have held our end-of-year gig at this iconic local venue.  This year, students aged 14-18 will perform well-known songs from artists such as Blondie, Metric, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pantera, The White Stripes, and Nirvana, along with some original compositions created over the year.

This is a great opportunity to witness the next big talent emerging from the grass-roots Walsall music scene.  We invite you to be part of this vibrant evening and support local live music.

Walsall Music Education Service is renowned for its high-quality music provision and resides in the Walsall Arena and Arts Centre, and is part of the Black Country Music Hub.  The provision is supported using public funding from the Department of Education and Arts Council England.
